Chummie premium has 8 loud alert ‘Selectable Tones’, so you can set the alarm to your favorite tone each night. The alarm features 2 volume levels designed both for regular and deep sleepers. With two visible bright lights and vibration, Chummie Premium is a parent favorite. This alarm is powered with a soft, flexible, hypoallergenic silicon sensor that detects the first drop of urine and does not cause skin rash.
No worries. Chummie Premium can be easily setup by a child fours year and above. Multiple functionalities are put into one easy to use button known as the 3-way switch which lets you change the features on the alarm. We recommend you go over the manual step by step with your child to them used to the alarm.
Batteries on the Chummie Premium Alarm should last through the life of the treatment. When the IntelliFlex sensor is disconnected during daytime storage, the batteries should last a year or longer. However in a rare case when the batteries are low, they can be replaced in no time at all. The Chummie Premium uses 2 AAA batteries.
Most definitely, the IntelliFlex Sensor on the Chummie Alarms is recommended to be cleaned after each use. Please ensure the sensor is dry, prior to reconnecting it to the alarm.
Each box consists of 60 Flexitapes. Additional Flexitapes can be purchased separately. You can contact us at (800)230-6775 if you prefer to order over the phone.
• Attach the sensor to the outside of your child’s undergarment. Ensure that sensor front (black face) touches the undergarment. Tape the sensor back (white face) with Flexitape.
• DO NOT tape the black surface of the sensor as shown below.
• If your child sweats at night, to avoid false alarms, tape the sensor and place between two pairs of undergarments. Sensor front must face your child. Run sensor cord underneath the shirt.
• To start monitoring for bedwetting events, insert the sensor plug into the sensor jack. The alarm unit will beep twice signaling a successful connection has been established.
The alarm is loud enough to wake up the child. Whether the alarm can be heard in the adjacent room, depends on many factors such as the size of the room, distance between both rooms and the location of your child’s bed.
Sure, the alarm works for children who sleep on their tummy, back or sideways. The way your child sleeps shouldn’t impact the treatment. If you have a specific question, please reach one of our bedwetting specialists.

My son just turned 11 this spring. We potty trained him when he was 2, but we couldn’t stop him from wetting the bed. It was awful. I felt like I was helpless. Every night, he was wetting his bed. I don’t think he has had more than 100 dry nights in the last 10 years,
I tried the homeopathic tablets, they were slow to work but they did tht job after 4 months, but I wasn’t certain if he should continue to use the,. I discontinued and the bed wetting came right back.
Over time, he’s started becoming shy, sad and I could see that it was affecting his self esteem. His younger sister was dry at night which made him feel like there was something wrong with him. I searched the internet for effective bedwetting cures and in the amazon search results, I found Chummie. I gave it a shot. Honestly, I didn’t even know that something like this existed.
I prepared him and the first few weeks, I had to wake him up. He slept right through the alarm. I was worried it wouldn’t work, but I was so wrong.Within two weeks, he was able to get himself ready for bed on his own by attaching the alarm to the t-shirt top and the sensor on his underwear. Was very skeptical when I purchased this alarm. But the chummie had spectacular reviews not just on this site, but all over the internet. The reviews do speak for themselves; in 7 weeks, my 9 year old son went from soaking wet every night to completely dry. So incredible!

I didn’t know there were solutions to help my son stop bed wetting. His pediatrician said that he would outgrow it. Maybe he was right, but at a hundred bucks, it was worth trying this product. BTW, my son is 6 and over the last few years, his wetting only became worse. First it was 4 times a week, then five times a week and then every night. Just before the alarm was purchased, he was wetting 2-3 times a night.
I bought this alarm and used it nightly. Used the charts and followed the system and everything worked out well. Some parents here said that their son stopped wetting in 4 weeks, other have said 8 weeks. I guess it depends from child to child. My son is a deep sleeper and he took around 8 weeks.

My 7 year old wanted to be dry and this item provided her with the help she needed. Its simple to set up and operate and works well. The beeps it makes are very loud. Set them on lower volume for a young child. The vibration was also intense to wake her up at night. I think the item took around 9-10 weeks for her to overcome her problem. The company provided good support when I had questions.

So far it has been working very very well. My boy was waking up at night when the alarm sounded and yes, he was waking up. The alarm is very sensitive. I had some issues initially with the alarm going off immediately. I thought I had a defective unit. I called the company and was told that I needed to wash the sensor under tap water. I tried it and it worked! No special treatment required. It has been working like a charm. 7 weeks later, he has had 15 dry nights. I am waiting for 21 days. Based on the progress I have seen, I think this is a very good system for all parents with bed wetting children. Customer support is friendly and the product is well built.

Can’t stop telling you how much this has helped my 7 year old son. We have recommended it to all our family and friends. Cute little device delivered a serious treatment dose. Like most children his age, my son is a DEEP SLEEPER. I mean really very deep. When the chummie arrived, we read through the instructions carefully and prepared him for it. Most reviews said that it doesn’t work immediately and that parents need to help. I can tell you that in our case, this was true. The first two and a half weeks, he did not get up to the alarm. I called the company up and they said that it was normal and that we should start seeing progress in a week more and they were right! Within a week, he started getting up to the alarm on his own. He was disoriented when he woke and I still had to help him go to the bathroom (and clean/dry). A week after thatm he had his first series of dry nights and I can’t tell you how happy we all were.
Within a few weeks of that, he had his 2 weeks of sleeping dry and we have stopped using it. Now a month later, we have not had any accident.
Chummie works, but be prepared to lose some sleep for the first month. It’s worth it considering the trade-off… no more wet sheets.
The tapes that came were effective and worked well. They are not enough and we had to order another set. Be careful of the sensor. It is very sensitive and if not cleaned and dried thoroughly, it will go off. I used a microfiber cloth to keep it dry and would recommend it to everyone else too.
The chummie is a well made product that has helped my son stop bedwetting. I can’t stop thanking chummie….
